How to expand your life.

Like many of you, I look forward to the start of a new year. New Year's Resolutions have never been my thing--they feel too restrictive. Instead, I like to spend time daydreaming about how I want my life to expand.

Expansion comes from a focused intention to do so. I use a series of questions I borrowed from Michael Beckwith to develop my intention and give me a direction to focus my mind on. Sometimes, I pick 1 or 2 questions from each of the sections and use them as writing prompts. Other times, I bring them into my meditation by repeating the question to myself and staying open to any insights that arise. If you like vision boarding these would be great questions to answer on your board. Play around with the questions below and see what comes up. As always I am here if you would like support.

Life Visioning Questions

1.) What is the highest vision of my life? What is the next stage in my unfolding? What is trying to emerge in my life right now? What is the next greatest vision of my life? What gifts or talents are trying to be expressed through me right now?

2.) What is it that I must become in order to manifest the vision that wants to articulate itself through me right now? (This is your growing edge.) Where must I grow in my own life in order to be a vehicle in this vision?

3.) What must I let go of that no longer serves me, my life, or the manifestation of my vision?

4.) What do I already have that can be in service to this vision? (What are your current assets, developments, strengths that will serve you? Acknowledge and celebrate them.)
