MONDAY
5 pm | Gentle Yoga | Catherine
This class is a slow-moving, meditative, and calm practice incorporating a therapeutic perspective of Yoga and can support students who are re-entering their practice after a long break or are looking to slow things down and reconnect to the body’s inner wisdom. (65 m.)
Props: 2 blocks, 1-2 blankets, strap, flat bolster
WEDNESDAY /
6:15 PM | Yoga Mix | Catherine
The first 1/2 of the class will be a slow-flow style, followed by a restorative practice where you will take time to rest in a reclined posture using props for ultimate comfort. I find this combination to be a perfect way to address an overactive nervous system: we move to get the energy out, so we don’t hold on to stress, and then practice rest so our bodies know it’s time to wind down for the evening. (65 m.)
Props: 2 blocks, 3-4 blankets, flat bolster (alt: bed pillows), optional: eye pillow, sandbag
